Class Description

The NRA Basic Personal Protection In The Home Course is an 8-hour, in-person training designed for law-abiding adult citizens with prior pistol experience. It focuses on using a handgun for self-defense within the home, covering legal aspects, defensive shooting techniques, and home security strategies. Required Equipment • Handgun – Semi-Automatic or Revolver • 150 Rounds Ammunition • 3 magazines or speed-loaders • Strong side outside the waistband (OWB) holster • Eye & Ear Protection (Electronic Hearing Protection Preferred) Attire • Closed-toed shoes are required • No scoop neck or V-neck shirts are allowed (High Collard Shirt) • Bring a baseball style hat Policy: Please note that all course fees are non-refundable.
