The Placement Evaluation is a rigorous technical assessment designed for experienced shooters seeking to bypass the Defensive Handgun 101–104 series. This is not a training session; it is a formal validation of your proficiency in firearm manipulation, surgical accuracy, and safety protocols under stress. Successful completion grants immediate eligibility for our advanced tactical curriculum. What is Evaluated We assess the "architectural" foundation of your tactical skills to ensure you meet our professional standards: - Mechanical Manipulation: Efficiency of the draw stroke, emergency reloads, and malfunction clearances. - Precision Standards: Accuracy maintained under strict time constraints and varied distances. - Safety Compliance: Absolute mastery of firearm safety and range etiquette in a dynamic environment. Mission Readiness Checklist To ensure a streamlined evaluation process, please arrive with the following mission-essential equipment: Hardware & Support - Primary Weapon: A reliable semi-automatic handgun. - Holster: A high-quality OWB (Outside the Waistband) or IWB (Inside the Waistband) holster. - Magazines: A minimum of (3) magazines with a dedicated magazine pouch. - Ammunition: 150 rounds of factory-new brass. Protection & Sustainment - PPE: Wraparound eye protection, hearing protection, and knee pads. - Range Attire: Durable clothing (tactical pants or jeans with a sturdy belt), high-collar shirts, and closed-toe footwear. - Environmental Prep: Weather-appropriate layers and water (all evaluations are conducted outdoors).
